Can I brush my pet's teeth at home instead?+
Home brushing is excellent for prevention, but professional scaling is still needed to remove existing tartar below the gumline.
Will my pet be sore afterwards?+
Most pets are eating normally the same evening. If extractions were needed, soft food is recommended for a few days.
